Everyone knows that the Janney community fundraises to support the school all year long, and ‘course this doesn’t happen without the volunteers. Please consider volunteering
your time as well. Here is a summary of the many fundraising activities that take place throughout the year:
- Student Support Fund Drive: Your contribution to this fund is vital to support the PTA’s annual operating budget. This year, you can make your donation online, but if writing a check is what you prefer, no problem. The donation form can be downloaded from the website or it can be picked up in the front office.
- Fundraising events: The fundraising events at Janney are often so fun that you don’t even think of them as fundraising activities. Funds raised at the Janney 5K & Fun Run, the Politics & Prose Book Fair, the Used Book Fair, and the Raffle, and of course the Janney Auction which contribute about half of the total funds needed for the PTA operating budget.
- Affiliate Programs: Whether you are shopping online or in the grocery store, you can earn money for Janney while you shop. Affiliate programs including Giant A+ rewards, eScrip, Shutterfly, and more.
- Employer Matching: Your employer may match your charitable contributions. If you discover that your employer does have a matching program, contact the Matching Grants Committee, and we will work with you to coordinate the details.
