Hello Janney Community,

We hope you all had a wonderful time with family and friends during the Thanksgiving break!  It was so nice to welcome students back to school on Monday.  This week’s message includes important updates about our race/equity work, attendance, and general updates.

Attendance
Please take time to review this letter regarding updates to DC Public Schools’ policy regarding unexcused absences related to COVID-19 and Virtual Learning Program for school year 2021-22.

General Updates
Janney School make-up day portraits are now online for viewing and purchasing. Check out the flyer for more information.

In last week’s newsletter we recognized our amazing fall cross-country team and omitted Elyse Swann from the list. We want to apologize for this oversight and hope that Elyse knows that we value her contribution to the team.

Leading with Love,

Danielle Singh, Your Proud Principal
