Dear Janney Community,

All of our initial lottery offers have been made for PK-5^th grades.

I want to be very clear that we will still be contacting families over the next few days as families decline their spots.

I will be in touch tomorrow with a few updates, including: how we will discuss the return to in-person with students; an updated timeline on when virtual class re-assignments will be complete; CAREs information; and, updates on our January calendar.

PK-2^nd grade families: If you know that your child’s virtual teacher will change because your current teacher is reporting in-person and your child will remain virtual, we invite you to complete this optional family survey. 

I know that some families are understandably disappointed right now that their child did not receive an in-person spot via the initial lottery results.  This will be a challenging few weeks, but this is a necessary first step as we begin to reopen our schools.  We are hopeful that even more students will be invited back for Advisory 4.
