Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is open!

DCPS has introduced a new online enrollment platform for 2024-2025!
  • Step 1: Visit enrolldcps.dc.gov to get started.
    To enroll, you’ll need to log into the Aspen Parent Portal.
    • Returning families: Use Parent Portal credentials.
      Find your Login ID by searching your emails for “familyportal.aspen@k12.dc.gov.”
    • New families: Create an account.
      On March 25, the District centrally reset passwords for users who had not yet accessed the Parent Portal. The subject line read “Welcome to the ASPEN Parent Portal”
  • Step 2: Complete the enrollment packet online.
    • Returning families: Click Forms on the menu to get started
    • New families: Click Enroll Student on the menu to get started
  • Step 3: Attach required documentation.
    • New families: Proof of Age and Proof of Residency documentation
    • Returning families: Proof of Residency documentation
  • Step 4: Submit!
    You will receive a confirmation email once your submission is received, reviewed, and accepted/declined.

When a parent/guardian completes the enrollment packet via computer or mobile device, the data will populate directly into the Aspen student information system.

Online enrollment will be fully translated and available for families to complete in Amharic, Chinese, English, French, Spanish, and Vietnamese. A paper enrollment option will still be available.
