The Pre-Kindergarten program is an all day program for students who are 4-5 years old.  We use the Creative Curriculum approach which focuses on developmentally appropriate academic, social, and emotional instruction.   Our teachers plan thematic units across the year to engage students in large and small group activities. Teachers set up thematic centers where students work on projects of their choosing, listen to stories read aloud, and learn early literacy and math skills.

Students are provided with many opportunities throughout the day to interact with each other through play, choice time, and academic centers.  Through these activities, teachers build student talk, vocabulary, and thinking by working alongside the students, asking questions, and encouraging students to share their work.
